Martin's work has been featured worldwide in sync productions for leading brands as well as with a diverse range of artists.
Martin's career began as a performer aged 17, when recruited to provide lead guitar for the resurrection of seminal classic rock outfit UFO, and he went on to record a #1 independant rock LP with his own band. As guitarist/musical director for chart dance act Weekend Players, Martin toured the concert halls and festivals stages of Europe and the USA.
The desire to unlock the secrets of record making proved too strong and led Martin into the studio where he spent time with the likes of William Orbit (Madonna) and Andy Cato (Groove Armada). Martin's debut production job was for a platinum selling German artist at Sunset Sound Studios, L.A. with members of Prince's band. In response to the shifting fortunes of the recording industry, he began augmenting artist work with sync and media productions, becoming first call composer to one of Europe's leading music houses. His varied output can be heard on releases of grammy nominated artists such as DJ Bob Sinclar, known for the global hit, 'World, Hold On' and also global brands including Reebok, BMW, Grolsch and Braun.
Martin's company, 'Music For Media Training', delivers first class education for aspiring tv, film, sync and game composers.
